When you visit this magnificent site by the sea, you will immediately come to the stoà, a portico which marked the entrance to the sacred precinct. A sanctuary dedicated to Demeter once stood here. Note also the cavea of a theatre, the foundations of a temple, sections of a perimeter wall and the base of towers from the north gate. At certain points along the road you can even see the ruts in the road dug by chariots.
