This gently sloping street terminates at the top end with the Montevergini church, its attractive curving façade enclosed by two bell towers by Sinatra. On both sides of the street stand attractive Baroque palaces, including the Palazzo Nicolaci di Villadorata, its extraordinary balconies supported by brackets enlivened by cherubs, horses, sirens, lions and grotesque figures among which may be seen an odd person with a snub nose and thick lips.
