Zisa - Museum of Islamic Art Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
The Zisa is a palace of incomparable charm, although none of its former decoration remains. It was built between 1166 and 1175 for William II, at a time when sovereigns had genuine "pleasure palaces" built in the heart of immense parks. The palace is home to a collection of objects, most of which are Egyptian (Mamluk and Ottoman period), but also from the Mediterranean basin. The mashrabiya are particularly worthy of mention.
