Sant'Agostino
Sant'Agostino : Michelin's recommendations
The church was built in the 13C at the request of the powerful Chiaramonte and Sclafani families. The very beautiful façade is remarkable for its great door, with two-colour geometric and floral motifs. The interior was altered during the Baroque period and decorated with numerous stucco from the Serpotta school.
Not far away is the Capo market, where Luigi Natoli found the inspiration for his monumental episodic novel, Beati Paoli, which amazed the city in 1909 and 1910.
