Partanna : Michelin's recommendations

Like Gibellina, Partanna was badly damaged by the 1968 earthquake. The town has retained its crenellated castle, which was built in the 17C on the foundations of an earlier Norman fortress. Unfortunately the town’s churches have been reduced to ghostly shells by the earthquake.
