From this square, there is a magnificent panoramic view around the peaks of Madonita, centred on the northern Himera: from the Rocca di Caltavuturo to the Carbonara peak by way of Cervi plateau, the view is superb! In the centre, there is a depression : the Padella (the frying pan): according to legend, a cave full of treasure has its secret entrance there... but you can only find it during the Easter mass.
