From the road there are attractive views over the Gulf of Cofano as well as the watchtowers that stretch along the coast. Mount Cofano is a nature reserve and has an impressive view of steep reddish rockfaces reflected in the transparent water. Nearby, don’t miss the Mangiapane cave, the site of a small abandoned settlement with a chapel and stone street.
