Sant' Angelo Muxaro : Michelin's recommendations
The village, perched on a hillside, is said to have been the capital of the ancient kingdom of Cocalos, the mythical god who gave shelter to Daedalus after he escaped from the maze. Sant'Angelo Muxaro’s main attractions are its main church, with a façade adorned with Lombard stripes framing its three portals, and the Grotta del Principe, a proto-historic tomb from the 9C BC.
