Sclafani Bagni : Michelin's recommendations
This village, perched on a rocky spur, still retains its medieval character. Visitors enter via the Porta Soprana, a pointed arch adorned with the coat of arms of the local lords, the Sclàfani family. It boasts a fine Chiesa Madre and ruined fortifications with views stretching from the peaks of the Madonie mountains all the way to the sea below Himera.
