Sperlinga : Michelin's recommendations
This small town, perched on the side of a rocky spur shaped like an upturned ship’s keel, was probably inhabited by the Sicani and has retained numerous cave dwellings from this period. The village is mainly famous for its fortified castle, strategically built in line with the configuration of the rock, in which stables, prisons and forges were created. Enjoy superb views of the Gangi plateau from the watchtower.
