Lady Florence Trevelyan loved to come and see the birds in this floral park. In order not to frighten away her little friends, she had built all sorts of shelters, some curious, others frankly exotic. The most unusual, The Beehives, brings to mind, as its name indicated, a beehive but history does not tell us if Lady Florence disguised herself as a bee to go in there. Running alongside the sea, a small alley provides an attractive panoramic view over Etna and the coast.
