The frieze of lozenges in alternating black and white Syracuse lava rock, which flanks the elaborate arcaded high facade, is the characteristic element in the decor of this palace. It contains the Mazullo foundation, a permanent exhibition of works (sculptures and drawings) by the artist Graniti, on the theme of sadness.
