Spread over three sites, the museum does not do justice to the quality of its collections. The remarkable Natural Science Section has the rich Orlando ornithological collection (nocturnal birds, storks, birds of prey). The Archaeological Section has relics taken from wrecks along the Terrasini coast. The Ethno-Anthropology Section is in fact the Museum of Sicilian Carts, which houses an attractive collection of carts, mainly from Palermo and Trapani.
