This village is thought to have been founded by the inhabitants of Halaesa after their town was destroyed by the Arabs. The medieval upper part of the village is perfectly preserved and offers panoramic views. Most of the churches are grouped here, including the Chiesa Madre, which features a fine doorway with a pointed arch.
