“I am son of Chaos”, wrote Pirandello. Il Caos is in fact the birthplace of Luigi Pirandello. The small house stands in open country, solitary and silent. Visitors can retrace the life and work of the author through documents, manuscripts, family photos and images from plays. Pirandello came here for the last time in 1934. His funerary urn was placed beneath a pine tree (sadly the victim of the hurricane in 1997) marking a path leading to the sea.
