  I have reviewed this restaurant before and still do not understand why it does not have a Michelin star, everything about the place is wonderful, food, service, presentation, the garden the interior rooms its just wonderful. An absolute must if you visit Sorrento.

  Pros

  I have been going to this restaurant for years normally about 3 times a year it is heaven, I do not understand why it does not have a Michelin Star. Service, food the restaurant itself are all excellent it is very beautiful with small intimate rooms inside and a heavenly garden outside. I recommend it highly.

  cercavamo qualcosa di speciale per il nostro anniversario di matrimonio e devo dire che grazie ad una collega di mia moglie l'abbiamo trovato perchè l'antica trattoria è difatti un ristorante sinonimo di perfezione sotto tutti i punti di vista.

  2 excellentes soirées à tous points de vue: accueil chaleureux,cadre romantique,ambiance typique au son de la mandoline, cuisine raffinée (mention spéciale pour les ravioli au basilic et les pâtes au citron!); patron fort sympathique et disponible avec la clientèle. particularité notable: souci de satisfaire aussi les végétariens et les personnes allergiques au gluten avec des menus spéciaux. mérite une distinction plus élevée que seulement 2 fourchettes!!

  Cons

  un conseil plus qu'un reproche: élargir la carte des vins avec plus de choix en 1/2 bouteilles et en vins au verre.

  L'ambiente è accogliente ed elegante: cenare sotto il pergolato con il sottofondo del mandolino rende il tutto fiabesco. il personale sfiora la perfezione: camerieri e capo sala attenti a ogni singolo particolare ma soprattutto capaci di mettere a proprio agio il cliente...insomma una volta provata state pur certi che ritornerete!

  the place is charming and the fact That this restaurant is in the Michelin guide and has good comments made us come.

  Cons

  unfotunately we were misled by those comments ! the food is not good: imagine the first dish as some leaves of salad with some kind of smoked fish on top of it. the main dish called millefeuilles of fish is kind of slices of chinchilla put together. the taste was bad and we did not finished our plates. we want you to be aware of this in order you Will not be misled as we were

  excellent acceuil, le patron toujours attentif et son staff aussi et un peu de mandoline pour agrémenter. Cadre très agréable, j'y suis allé deux fois en une semaine. Plats succulents, très bons goûts et très bonnes suggestions de vins locaux. Il ne faut pas hésiter à demander. Prix corrects

  la prima volta che ci siamo stati siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti, ma abbiamo deciso di riprovare e ... la seconda volta è stata ancora migliore della prima! Dunque: servizio eccellente, personale squisito, sala e sottofondo da atmosfera e pietanze da deliziarsi, delicate, sfiziose e da degustare mooolto lentamente...sennò finisce subito (come dice una pubblicità). Da riprovare ancora tante volte!

  I have been visiting this restaurant for years, it is always perfect, food wonderful, service great, a stunning garden and the interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Every visit it just gets better, if you visit Sorrento this is a must.

  Ambiente straordinario capace di unire poesia e raffinatezza. Cucina in grado di esaltare alla perfezione i sapori del mare e della terra con equilibrio e delicatezza. Dal patron Aldo sempre pronto a consigliare con tatto ed esperienza all'estro dello chef ed ancora dalla professionalità del personale di cucina al garbo degli addetti alla sala il tutto si trasforma in una sorta di armonia del gusto. Completando la sinfonia di sapori offerta con una fornitissima enoteca e con i dolci di un abile maestro pasticcere, L'Antica Trattoria a Sorrento si identifica come uno degli ultimi luoghi cult dedicati a quei piaceri del palato che fanno ancora bene al corpo ed all'anima.

  La meilleure adresse de Sorrento pour déguster la véritable gastronomie italienne. L'accueil d'Aldo est chaleureux, sobre et professionnel. La classe!!! Le service de Salvatore et ses amis est impeccable et le son de la mandoline napolitaine nous transporte. Même la clientèle locale participe à l'excellence du lieu. Le restaurant est parfait pour un dîner romantique. Avec une légère préférence pour les produits de la mer... Aller à Sorrento et manquer l'Antica Trattoria, c'est comme aller à Rome et ne pas voir le Pape. Une faute de goût... Ciao Aldo, e grazie a tutti.

  Una dei ristoranti piu belli e buoni che conossiamo,e non solo in Italia.Dopo anni di esperienza con loro,siamo rimasti stupiti che non hanno ancora ricevuto una stella di Michelin!
