Built from 1292 to 1460, the church mingles Gothic and Renaissance style elements and has a remarkable central doorway with rich and fine sculpted decoration. Inside, there are frescoes by Masolino (1432) and the tomb of Jacopone da Todi (1230-137), monk and poet, author of Stabat Mater.
