An unusually animated facade characterizes this palace built by Guarini, where the first King of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II, was born in 1820. So it naturally seemed the obvious place to install the National Musem of the Risorgimento, which houses a rich collection of documents witnessing the long and difficult march toward Italian Unification. You will visit the Sub-Alpine Parliament Hall, reminiscent of Cavour, Garibaldi, Verdi and Manzoni, and the Italian Parliament Hall.
