These superb collections gathered over many years by the House of Savoy are exhibited in a thematic and chronological manner. The thematic section shows works of the Piemontese school, with works by Spanzotti and Ferrari as well as works by Flemish and Dutch painters collected by prince Eugene. The chronological section is a beautiful example of paintings from the 15th C. to the18th C., with paintings by Van Dyck, Velazquez, Tiepolo, Veronese and Van der Weyden.
