Anghiari
: Michelin's recommendations
Anghiari is famous thanks to the battle fought here between Florence and Milan in 1440, which was subsequently chosen as the theme for the Sala dei Cinquecento in Florence's Palazzo Vecchio. This small town, built of brick and terracotta, boasts a picturesque location on the top of a hill, with narrow, winding streets adding to its charming medieval atmosphere.
