Cutigliano : Michelin's recommendations

Surrounded by woods on the northern slopes of the Lima valley, Cutigliano is now a major ski resort thanks to the Doganaccia cable car. This attractive village has retained many of its old buildings, such as the Palazzo Pretorio, adorned with the coats of arms of the ""Captains of the Mountain "", and the church of the Madonna di Piazza (Our Lady on the Square), which houses a superb altarfront by Andrea della Robbia. An avenue shaded by fir trees leads to the parish church.
