Named such due to the natural air holes which create a constant flow of air, the temperature remains at an invariable 10, 7° C in this cave which is why the residents of the neighbouring village local began using this "ice-box". The cave has some enormous concretions (stalactites and stalagmites) which are permanently covered in a veil of ice.
