Magliano stands at the top of a hill covered with olive trees, half-concealed behind its 14C ramparts, in a charming landscape that is typical of Tuscany. The main street (Via di Mezzo) runs through the village, which has two churches: San Martino, which dates from the Romanesque period, and San Giovanni Battista, which boasts a Renaissance façade. The remains of an Etruscan necropolis once belonging to ancient Heba can be seen not far from the village.
