On the other side of the river from Lungarno Pacinotti, to which it is linked by the Ponte di Mezzo, Lungarno Gambacorti has the loggia di Banchi, which now houses the fabric market, and the stern Palazzo Gambacorti (late 14C), of grey-green stone streaked with pink stone; today it is Pisa’s town hall.
