A visit to this palace will take you on an archaeological trip in the course of which there are remains showing the history of the Palace and also of the land on which it was built. There are remains of the Roman walls, the Via Cassia, Etruscan funereal vases and also Lombardy vases. During the visit you will also see the cathedral museum, well endowed with goldsmith's work and a painted room by Macchiaiolo Boldini.
