Ruins of Roselle : Michelin's recommendations
These ruins are those of the ancient Etruscan town of Russel, colonised by the Romans in 294 BC. Excavations have revealed a wall built of blocks of stone up to 2m in height, dating from the 6C to the 2C BC. A residential district and workshops are visible, together with ruins that date from the Roman period - an amphitheatre, imperial forum and a villa with a mosaic floor.
