It is Gothic (from the 14 C) but was remodelled in the 18C. Its facade adorned with a flamboyant doorway and Its robust campanile with statues of the angel of the Annunciation and of the Archangel Gabriel. Attractive Baroque decoration: organ loft, pulpit, tombs, retables and historiated stalls. The vault of the chapel of the Holy Sacrament has trompe-l'oeil frescoes by Tiepolo who also painted those on the ceiling of the Oratory of Purity, to the right of the cathedral.
