Ulassai : Michelin's recommendations

Perched 200m above Jerzu, Ulassai has a panoramic view over the Tacco di Tisiddu, a limestone formation carpeted with holly oak trees. It is here that a megalithic village comprising a Nuragic residential complex and several domus de janas dating from the third millennium BC was discovered. Outside the village, the little train station has been converted into a contemporary art museum. You should also visit the imposing Grotta de su Marmuri, which is named "Marble Grotto" after the colour and appearance of its concretions.
