This is a rare opportunity to discover some of the City of Water's most picturesque spots under the guidance of a professional photographer. Your tour starts in Castello, the largest of the sixsestieri (districts) of Venice. The Arsenale here, once the largest naval complex in Europe, now houses Venice's biannual art exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia.
A Venetian himself, your guide will show you how to approach local people and snap their spontaneous emotions, expressions, and interactions to tell the story of Venice.
Learn to use perspective to your advantage and play with light and shadow. The intimate setting of a small group allows for plenty of questions on colour, contrast, and technique. Just don't forget your camera–whether digital or film.
