Bell tower of Venice Recommended Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

At 96m high, this is one of Venice's most distinctive landmarks; visible from the mainland, it is an exact replica of a 16C tower which collapsed in 1902. From the top, the view stretches from the Giudecca Canal to the Grand Canal, over terraces and rooftops to the lagoon's outlying islands. The tower is backed up against the Loggetta Sansoviniana, whose recesses hold statues of Minerva, Apollo, Mercury and Peace.
