This foundation, established by Vittorio Cini in memory of his son Giorgio, encourages cultural research. It has taken upon itself the restoration of the convent buildings of San Giorgio Maggiore. Visitors can see the library (by Longhena), the cloisters – one of which leads to the Verde Theatre (open-air), and the monks’ dormitory by Buora (late 15C).
