This campo doesn't seem to ask for much attention, as eager tourists rush across it without paying much attention, in their forced march between Piazza San Marco and the Academy and vice-versa. But the truth is, in the evening, the palaces that form this square on the canal side produce quite a theatrical décor. You will see the Oratory of the Annunciation, the old school for invalid sailors, and Duodo Palace where the musician Domenico Cimarosa died in 1801.
