Not only is it attractive but it contains several masterpieces: effigies of the Apostles painted by Michele da Verona, the famous fresco by Pisanello depicting St Georges delivering the princess of Trebizond (1436) both realist and fantastic, a collection of 17 terracottas by Michele da Firenze and a votive fresco by Altichiero of Verona.
