A portico and chapels line the Viale X Giugno up to the top of the hill where the Baroque basilica stands topped with a dome. From the esplanade, the panoramic view over Vicenza, the Venetian plain and the Alps is superb. A small road allows you to see the Monti Berici, pleasant volcanic hills sprinkled with patrician villas which have today been converted into farms.
