This splendid theatre, entirely in wood and stucco, was designed in 1580 by Andrea Palladio on the model of old theatres. A magnificent colonnade whose balustrade has statues surmounts the hemicycle of the seats. With niches, columns, statues that are superimposed and let you see the stunning perspectives in trompe-l'oeil fashion designed by Scamozzi, the setting is wonderful.
