A staging post for over a century, as well as a ballroom and grocery store, this restaurant has really taken off under its present management. Originally from Piedmont but now very much at home in the Aosta valley, the female chef uses both these regional influences in her simple, delicious dishes.       Pros

      Welcoming down to earth atmosphere. Not the least bit formal. A village inn where locals come for lunch and dinner.

      Cons

      There's no "food presentation" if you fancy that sort of thing. The restaurant does simple, rustic food in a good manner and that's it.
