  On a eu la chance de découvrir ce très beau restaurant dans notre voyage de vacances à la côte Amalfitaine. Deco très classe et design et pourtant cosy avec des bougies sur les tables, une belle cheminée, et une vue surprennent de la mer dans le terrasse (mais aussi dans la salle) ! Côté cuisine, à la hauteur de nos attentes (qui étaient déjà très hautes). Le calamar avec une purée de courges était superbe, avec une texture indescriptible. Le linguine con zucchini, apparemment un plat typique de la région est l'incontournable de la maison, et ce n'est pas par hasard (franchement super !). La cave avec sa carte de vins est à découvrir. Une collection impressionnante, avec quelques bouteilles mythiques. Et les deux propriétaires, Mme et Chef Mellino étaient toujours présent, avec une accueil très chaleureux. À découvrir absolument !

  Il ristorante gode di una splendida vista sulla baia di nerano, l'accoglienza della signora Rita e del personale eccezionale sempre disponibili e molto preparati, lo chef Antonio UN GRANDE piatti molto curati matrie prime di prima qualità, la sua presenza in sala é molto apprezza anche perché chi meglio di lui ti può consigliare.....   pronto a lasciare la mia avventura del 4 passi mi rento conto che leggendo le altre esperienze di clienti di questo locale mi rento conto che a tanti sorge un gran dubbio: E' Mellino Antonio uno cheff stellato???? Sono 4 volte che vado al 4 passi e lo chef e' sempre in sala, ma mai in cucina.il sommelier preparato ma pesante ma cosa fa mi consiglia o mi fa lezione???Ma cosa succede in questo locale, ATTENZIONE NON MERITA 2 STELLE!!! locale carino, ma nulla di che.il cibo ottimo ma da trattoria.

  ristorante di grande fascino,cosi lo definiscono alcune riviste,ristorante a 2 stelle michelin???????????ebbene no!!!andare in un 2 stelle per sentire e ammirare la totale follia dello chef mi sembra troppo,,una serata orribile per un 2 stelle,la mia domanda: chi cucina?siamo sicuri che lo cheff e' davvero questo ?sono stanco anche di raccontarvi quello che lo chef ha potuto fare durante la mia cena,non conosce gl'ingredienti delle pietanze. il mellino e' veramente stellato?

  in una splendida posizione un ottima cucina con un menu' vegetale molto leggero e appettitoso con spendidi dolci a un prezzo molto leggero come i ricarichi dei vini

  lo chef dopo aver preso l'ordinazione ci ha ignorati per tutta la cena dedicandosi ai soliti noti e senza descriverci iil piatto.per fortuna il personale di sala lo sostituisce in maniera eccellente e con tanta simpatia.ma a proposito in cucina chi cucina?

  Ristorante di grande fascino. La cucina a vista all'ingresso fa intuire immediatamente l'investimento titanico della proprietà. Al primo piano la sala ristorante con la magnifica vista mare. L'accoglienza è verace e calorosa e la cucina mediterranea conquista per leggerezza e concretezza.

  great welcome from all members of staff,the fantastic palcosceicio italiano from gregory ( the director ) is a think that you will never forget, i took at home the recipie book, fantastic disches on it.

  the chef is the person in charge of food but in this occasion he was all the time on the floor.

  La acogida y el interés de Gregorio en que todo estuviera bien. Los platos estaban bien elaborados. El personal de la cocina está ilusionado en esta aventura gastronómica, y además están bien organizados.

  Cons

  El local es frío por la decoración y por el empeño del dueño en no cerrar las puertas de la terraza. Las raciones son exageradamente pequeñas y caras por la cantidad que hay en el plato. Te ofrecen un aperitivo sin alcohol hecho de tónica y Coca-Cola del cual te cobran 6 euros, no tienen ningún detalle como en otros restaurantes del mismo nivel o menos. Buscan una tercera estrella pensando en hacer caja, no con vocación.

  Ambiente meraviglioso, principalmente in primavera - estate ..... una terrazza che affaccia sul golfo e Capri ..... paesaggio incantevole direi !!! e poi ovviamente" LUI"....Antonio Melillo che con la sua straordinaria simpatia e disponibilità ti fa davvero sentire a casa .... la cucina per me e' sublime .... iniziando con un antipastino di pesce crudo .... o una tiepida insalatina di seppioline ....o ancora i calzoncelli fritti alla ricotta e basilico .... per i primi c e' un ampia scelta sia di mare che della tradizione napoletana .... dalle famose linguine di gragnano alle zucchine ...a un tubbettone cozze e pecorino !! per i secondi direi una tempura di scampi .... eccellente.... i dessert che dire .... grande varietà, sopratutto pasticceria napoletana ... indimenticabile il classico babà !!!

  Giudizio 2. Antonio Mellino è sempre grandissimo nella Sua aulica "semplicità". Piatti sapidi e geniali mai urlati.Un inno ad un luogo bellissimo ed a tutti i suoi gioielli gastronomici.
