At an altitude of 1 495m, this shimmering lake is encircled by the Croda del Becco mountains and can be circumnavigated in one hour. Boat trips can be made and it is also the starting point of some rather arduous mountain footpaths into the Parco Naturale di Fanes-Sennes-Braies.
