Suganuma : Michelin's recommendations

Suganuma has good reason to be proud: it is home to the oldest of Japan's gassho-zukuri, Murakami House, as well as the biggest, Iwase House, both dating from the 16C. This little hamlet of Gokayama is a peaceful setting in which to explore the nine houses.
