Togakushi : Michelin's recommendations

Set in a magnificent site where the cedar rules supreme, this is another village in the Japan Alps with much to write home about. Skiing in winter, walking in summer… and mythology year round thanks to the numerous shrines linked to the sun goddess Amaterasu. Soba (buckwheat noodles) is one of the culinary treats to sample at one of the village restaurants. Children will particularly enjoy the Ninja Trick House.
