The exuberant architecture of Minato Mirai 21, a seafront area that has grown up around the docks, is dominated by the Landmark Tower. This 70-floor tower reaches a height of 296m and affords a unique viewpoint from which you can make out Mt Fuji on a clear day. It is worth coming for the lift alone, one of the fastest in the world (45kmph).
