A relaxed afternoon excursion through Tokyo can be combined with the Tokyo Nightlife Tour for a comprehensive look at the scenery and activities in one of the world's largest cities.
Gaze out on Tokyo from your vantage point on the 40th floor of the World Trade Center Building. The observatory's panoramic view will help familiarize you with Tokyo's vast environs and many landmarks.
Relax and enjoy a 40-minute boat ride on the Sumida River to Asakusa Kannon Temple, the oldest and most popular Buddhist temple in Tokyo. On your way into the temple, you'll stroll through the Nakamise Shopping Arcade, a charming area lined with tiny food and souvenir shops. You'll tour through the Ginza for a sneak peak at Tokyo's upmarket shopping and entertainment district. A great variety of department stores, boutiques, restaurants, and theaters will lure you back to the bustling area. Finally, the tour wraps up with a visit to the beautiful outer garden of the Imperial Palace Plaza, home to the Japanese royal family.
