Maralal : Michelin's recommendations

Situated in the heart of the region inhabited by the Samburu (nomadic shepherds who wear colourful traditional costumes), Maralal is a market town with stalls and cafés lining its dirt streets. The town is known for the Maralal Sanctuary, a wildlife reserve, as well as for its famous camel race which takes place in August.
