Time difference

There is a 2hr time difference between Kenya and the UK and Ireland in summer and a 1hr difference in winter. When it is 12 noon in Kenya in summer it is 10am in London and Dublin.


Documents

A valid passport and a visa (which can be extended in Kenya) are required for stays of up to three months.


Health

Compulsory vaccinations: DT polio

Recommended vaccinations: yellow fever, meningitis, typhoid, hepatitis A and B and in some instances measles

Insurance is advisable (automatically provided by some bank cards).
