Tsinjoarivo
: Michelin's recommendations
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a holiday spot for the Malagasy kings ever since Ranavalona I built the palace (rova) here in 1834, Tsinjoarivo lies at an altitude of 1 675m, overhanging the spectacular Onive waterfalls. The large Eastern forest extends as far as the eye can see.
