Time difference
There is a 3-hour time difference between Madagascar and the UK and Ireland in winter and a 2-hour time difference in summer. When it is 12 noon in Madagascar, it is 9am in London and Dublin in winter and 10am in summer.
Documents
EU nationals are required to hold a passport valid for 6 months after the date of return, an entry visa and an international vaccination card.
Health
Compulsory vaccination: DT polio.
Recommended vaccinations: yellow fever, typhoid, hepatitis A and B, rabies.
Anti-malaria medication: essential.
