The only area of primitive forest in Madagascar, the Lokobe Reserve comprises a series of hills which plunge into the ocean. In the shade of the tropical canopy you may catch a glimpse of a flycatcher, owl, macao lemur, grey-backed sportive lemur, boa or a python. Access to the reserve is not easy, but the site is magnificent.
