Aberdeen Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
In the south of Hong Kong Island, Aberdeen Bay was once the home of Tanka and Hoklo fishermen. Colonised in the late 19C by the British, the shores of this bay are now dotted with high-rise buildings. If you're expecting a romantic bay full of sampans, you may well be disappointed as these traditional boats are now few and far between. However, some of the locals have resisted the lure of modernisation and there are still a few fishermen in the floating village, which is also inhabited by expats seduced by the exotic atmosphere. The three garishly coloured floating restaurants still serve fish and seafood here.
