This giant escalator linking Central and the Mid-Levels is a great way to explore this area. Several stops along its 800m length serve the district of SoHo. The escalator first of all passes the Chinese markets, as well as the alternative cafés and bars of SoHo. Since the escalator were opened in 1993, dozens of restaurants serving both Asian and Western cuisine have opened here.
