Hong Kong Island : Michelin's recommendations

Hong Kong Island is extremely mountainous. The north, the historic centre of the territory, is highly built up – a typical metropolis with its combination of skyscrapers, hectic traffic, busy bankers and luxury shops. Central, Wan Chai and the Mid-Levels are the main districts in the north of the island; the south is occupied by beaches and mountains. Aberdeen Harbour is famous for its huge restaurant on the water and its fishermen, while the village of Stanley is popular at weekends for its seaside restaurants and market, which is something of a tourist trap.

    Pros
